Dear Diary,

It's not a matter of if I'm going to Germany now, it's when!!!

I'm Going to GERMANY!!!!

I am so excited and nervous! I can't believe it! I never dreamed I'd be going!

I am mostly scared about the flight. I've never been in an air plane before. It will be pretty cool though! I'm going over the ocean...to the other side of the world! The other side of the world. Going to New York was one thing. This is going to be extreme! And AWESOME!!!

The Coolest Things About This Trip:

1. Going to Europe
2. Flying in an air plane
3. Crossing the ocean
4. Going to Berlin
5. Going on an excursion with Sierra's aunt
6. The internship at the horse ranch
7. Travelling with Sierra!
8. Seeing my German friend from camp in her own country!

The Negatives:

1. Missing school; possibly losing credits
2. Being away from home for a long time
3. Not being in the school play
4. Missing the opening of Insurgent
5. Leaving my pets for so long
6. Possibly never coming back!(you never know:accidents,war, etc)

I wonder why God wants me to go to Germany? Is it well earned vacation time, or a mission? Which ever, I am SO pumped!

The Most Exciting News!!!

Dear Diary,

OMG!!! I am so Excited!!! I might be going to Germany!!!

Let me explain; Sierra got offered an internship at a horse ranch in Germany which is super cool! However, she argued with her Step Mom, Jessie, that she won't go unless I go with her! It now sounds like Jessie really wants me to go with Sierra, and all the details seem to be working out!

I am so EXCITED!!!

Hi! I am Jacinta Secker. I live in a small hamlet in Ontario Canada, and I am almost eighteen. This blog is about the amazing trip I went on with my friend Sierra last year. I will be posting the diary entries I wrote, along with the photos we took. Hope you enjoy!!!

Characters: 

Jacinta Secker: (also known as Jay) She has dirty blond Hair, blue eyes, and is taller then the average girl. She is seventeen years old during the course of the story. She is the eldest of eight, and lives in a log cabin that has two bedrooms, one main room downstairs, and no running water. Her favourite activities are writing, art, sports, and horseback riding. Jacinta just loves horses!!! Not just horses, but animals of all kinds!! Especially her very tame duck, Peeper, who will be mentioned several times in this story. At this point in the story, Jay never dreamed that she would leave Canada to go to Europe. She didn't make enough money, and neither did her parents. However God, Fate, or Circumstances decided that money wouldn't be an issue, and she would have the time of her life!

 Sierra: Seventeen year old, Native American girl, who is best friends with Jacinta. She is the second eldest of five and lives in a log cabin  in Ontario Canada. She is a prodigy at both art, and horsemanship. Because of her skills she is offered an internship at a equine facility in Germany. She finds the offer exciting, but she doesn't want to leave her boyfriend, horse, and donkey. She is also nervous about travelling to a distant country alone.
